1) Current status
Using the app requires the purchase/ownership of a XamIoT SoundSense device, which itself needs an Internet connection via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Without a device, the app is inoperative.
As of today, app usage is free (no subscription). This may evolve into a paid subscription.

2) If subscriptions are offered in the future
Purchase & Billing (Apple IAP). Subscriptions are purchased, billed and managed by Apple via your Apple ID. Apple’s rules apply for pricing, taxes, renewals and refunds.
Auto-renewal. Plans renew automatically (monthly/annual, as displayed). You can cancel at any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Cancellation must occur at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Access remains until the end of the paid period; no partial refunds or proration.
Free trials. If a trial is offered, it converts to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Unused trial time is forfeited upon purchase of a plan.
Prices & changes. Prices are shown in the App Store and may change. Apple may notify price changes; continuing the subscription after notification implies acceptance. You can cancel before the change takes effect.
Scope of service. Each plan’s features (e.g., extended history, pro tools) are described in the app and may evolve while maintaining overall equivalence. Service availability requires a SoundSense device connected via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Internet access.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s refund policy. We cannot process App Store refunds directly.
Family Sharing / multi-device. Access sharing is only available if and as supported by Apple and specified in the offer.
Suspension/termination. We may suspend or terminate access in case of misuse, security risks or legal requirements. Apple may suspend for non-payment.
