Sensor sharing
Give another XamIoT account access to one of your sensors: the property manager running your Airbnb or Vrbo rental, a co-host, a caretaker. They see the measurements and receive the alerts; you remain the owner of the sensor.
The sensor stays subscription-free
Your sensor, the app, the customer portal and your alerts work without any subscription. Only sharing a sensor with another account is a paid option.
Sharing prices
Monthly subscription, based on the number of shared sensors. Plans can be combined and you always pay for the cheapest combination.

We do the maths for you: when a larger plan costs less than several small ones combined, the larger plan is applied.
How it works
You invite an account
In the customer portal, on the “Sensor sharing” page, enter the email address of the account to invite for the chosen sensor. They receive the invitation by email.
They accept the invitation
One click on the link in the email is enough. No XamIoT account yet? They create one with the invited address, then accept the invitation waiting for them in the portal.
A licence activates the share
Each shared sensor takes up one licence slot. Only one of the two accounts pays: the owner’s if it has a free slot, otherwise the invited account’s. A property manager can therefore take one plan for all the homes it looks after.
What the invited account sees
It can
- see the sensor’s measurements and history
- receive the alerts, with its own notification history
It cannot
- change the thresholds or alert rules
- rename the sensor
- delete the sensor
You stay in control
- You suspend or remove the invited account’s access whenever you like, from the portal.
- The subscription renews automatically every month. You can cancel it at any time from the customer portal: sharing stays active until the end of the month already paid for.
- With no licence available, the share is simply suspended: your sensor and your alerts keep working.
